My Hometown and Summer Vacation
My home town, Daegu, is a pleasant place. There are lots of enjoyable things.
Dong-sung Street is the central districts of Daegu. It has many cafeterias, restaurants, bars and clubs. Also, Dong-sung Street holds a festival annually and is crowded every day.
Su-sung Lake is one of famous tourist spot. Su-sung Lake has a fine view, so there is many people to jogging at night. There has some rides and sports equipment.
E-world is an amusement park in Daegu that has more than 30 rides, animal farms, ice rinks etc. Also, there are many festivals each season which is available for families and couples. there is the 83 tower which is the highest tower in Korea. You can enjoy the view of Daegu from there.
This summer, I went to a pension in Ulsan. I expected this vacation, but it was raining in the morning. Fortunately, the rain had stopped when I arrived at the pension. it was very cold since it had been raining, so I couldn’t swim in the pool. The pension had a fine view because it was next to the beach. At night, I had a good time with barbecue party and fireworks on the beach. The next day, it was a lovely day, so I couldnt stand the hot weather and swam in the beach. The water at the Ulsan beach was very clear and cool. After than I went to a famous restaurant with Eonyang Bulggogi. It was a fantastic time in Ulsan.

Gyeongju has many attractions. Anapji, Cheomseongdae and Silla Dynasty tombs are some of the most famous attractions you can see in downtown Gyeongju. There are also many attractions near Bomun Lake, such as Gyeongju World , two teddy bear museums and Sonjae Art museum. There are also many beachs in Gyeongju which called Jusangjeolli, gwanseong beach and naah beach. Many people go swimming and driving near beaches in the Summer. Thohamsan is the highest mountain in Gyeongju, Bulguksa and Seokguram Grotto are located in Thohamsan. Yangdong Village is a Korean folk village listed as part of the World Heritage by the UNESCO. You can experience various Korean traditional culture in Yangdong Village. Finally, you shouldn’t leave Gyeongju without visiting Bulguksa, the famous Buddhist temple, and Seokguram Grotto.
